Racing Club Warwick team up with ILEAP charity for April football fun

Leamington Editorial 7th Apr, 2022   0

RACING Club Warwick have teamed up with ILEAP Charity once again to give young people with additional needs the chance to have fun, play football and make new friends.

Sessions will take place for children aged 8 to 12 years old at Racing’s Townsend Meadow ground from 4.30pm until 5.30pm every Wednesday during term time from April 27 until July 20.

And the cost is just £1 per session with the option to book for the term.

The club have advised that normal football boots should be worn where possible although astro boots are okay. Flat trainers are not permitted as they can damage the pitch, be slippy and are dangerous.

The charity are launching children’s sessions, specifically targeted at ages 8-12 and have teamed up with Racing Club Warwick FC to give our young people the chance to play footy in great club grounds, like their non-disabled peers.

Register at www.ileap.co.uk to book onto the session.

ILEAP is a Stratford upon Avon based charity who provide community based leisure activities for anyone with additional needs aged four years and over.

The inclusive leisure activities are chosen by the ILEAP members and take place in the heart of the local community throughout Warwickshire.
