TENNIS: ONE of Warwick Tennis club’s star players had the chance to emulate his heroes last week when competing at Wimbledon.
Ten-year-old Ferran made his Wimbledon debut on Court Five after being invited to compete at the home of tennis with his Loughborough Tennis team mates.
As well as having a tour around centre court and the practise courts, Ferran used his skills to play with some of the best young tennis players in the country – and he hopes it won’t be the last time he appears at the venue.
He said: “It was amazing. I’ll never forget.
“I definitely want to play here again when I’m older.”
