KENILWORTH conceded more than 100 points in a game for the second time this season following a 105-12 defeat against Stourbridge.

The home side shipped 66 points in the first half and 39 in the second period at Glasshouse Lane.

Kenilworth suffered a 100-point defeat against Banbury earlier in the season in a 110-10 scoreline.

The result means Kenilworth remain bottom of the Regional 1 Midlands table after suffering a 14th straight defeat.

Stourbridge proved too strong for the home side and ran in 10 tries in the first period as Callum Davies dotted down Kenilworth’s only score of the half.

The home side showed greater resilience in the second half while Lewis Kavanagh touched down Kenilworth’s second try of the game which Isaac Handley converted.

Kenilworth are next in action against Bridgnorth on Saturday, February 1 with kick-off at 2.15pm at the Edgar Davies Ground.
