KENILWORTH RFC suffered a heavy 83-7 home defeat against local rivals Nuneaton.
The home side’s only try came courtesy of Joe Stockbridge at Glasshouse Lane.
And the result means Kenilworth remain bottom of the Regional 1 Midlands table.
Nuneaton ran in seven first-half tries to take a commanding 43-point lead at the break.
However, the game opened up in the second half as Stockbridge crossed for the home side’s sole try converted by Jon Lowden.
The visitors ran in six further tries as the home side shipped 80 points or more in a game for the sixth time this season.
Kenilworth are next in action against Stourbridge on Saturday, March 22 with kick-off at 3pm at Stourton Park.
