LEAMINGTON RFC strolled to a 48-0 eight-try whitewash of bottom side Pinley to secure their fourth league win of the season.
Louis Harvey touched down twice with Joe Kinghorn, Daniel Ruyssevelt, Conor Chamberlain, Tom Clayton, Ali Weedon and Craig Smith also crossing.
The result means Leamington sit ninth in the Midlands 2 West (South) table having ended a run of two games without a win.
And the home side scored their first converted try on 12 minutes when Harvey dotted down after good link-up play between Chamberlain and Ed Gray.
The pressure continued shortly after as Harvey raced over for his second try after Gray had secured the ball at a lineout.
And Leamington soon had their third try when Kinghorn crashed over after scrum-half George Jacobs reacted quickest following a penalty.
The first-half scoring was complete when Ruyssevelt touched down a loose ball after a strong drive from the Leamington pack at a scrum close to the Pinley line.
James Dunne’s second successful conversion sent Leamington into the break with a commanding 24-0 lead.
And the home side picked up where they left off in the second period when Chamberlain finished off a smart attack underneath the posts with Dunne adding the extras.
Try number six came from Clayton after the centre crashed over following a deft offload from Smith with Dunne slotting the conversion between the sticks.
Leamington’s most eye-catching try came via Weedon when the number 8 gathered a loose ball before racing down the pitch for a spectacular score.
And the try-scoring was complete when Smith dotted down following another quickly taken penalty by Jacobs.
Leamington are next in action away at Silhillians with kick-off at 2.15pm at Silhillians Sports Club.
