KENILWORTH RFC scored their highest points total in a game since December in a 69-19 defeat against Derby.
The visitors crossed for three tries as Harry Bowser, Keiran Payne and Joe Stockbridge all dotted down at Haslams Lane.
And the result means Kenwilorth remain bottom of the Regional 1 Midlands table having lost all 18 of their matches this season.
A pair of early unconverted tries from Ryan Milton and Joe Acton saw Derby race into a 10-point lead.
And another try from Jack Bates stretched Derby’s lead before three further scores saw the home side take a commanding 34-point lead into the break.
However, Kenilworth responded after the interval as Bowser finished well in the corner and Ed Hannam converted.
Derby hit back through Jack Partington only for Payne to dot down Kenilworth’s second try with Hannam again adding the extras.
Tempers flared soon after with both teams losing a player to the sin-bin before Lewis Hancock crossed for the home side’s eighth try.
Derby crossed three more times before the final whistle as Kenilworth had the last laugh when Stockbridge forced his way over the line at the death to score a consolation try.
Kenilworth are next in action away at league leaders Syston on Saturday, March 1 with kick-off at 2.15pm at Barkby Road.
