LEAMINGTON Royals moved top of the Optasia Squash Super League after beating Bristol Buccaneers 3-1 to secure a fourth straight win.
The Royals usurped Chichester Centurions at the top of the SSL standings and are now the only side to remain unbeaten this season.
Wins for Satomi Watanabe, Sam Osborne Wylde and Ben Smith saw the Royals continue their winning streak.
Leamington now lead Chichester by a point in the SSL table.
The Royals made the perfect start as Smith beat Malaysia’s Darren Pragasm in straight sets.
Smith recorded an 11-7, 11-7 victory in just 22 minutes in the club heroes match.
And Osborne Wylde then marked his Royals debut with a win against Jared Carter in the men’s under-25 match.
Osborne Wylde triumphed 11-5, 5-11, 11-5 to put Leamington in command of the fixture.
And Watanabe continued her unbeaten run for the Royals in the ladies’ professional match.
The Japanese number one came from behind to win 8-11, 11-6, 11-6 against Malaysia’s number two.
However, Leamington were denied a clean sweep in the final match of the night.
Bristol’s Mohamed El Shorbagy won 11-7, 9-11, 11-6 against Declan James.
Leamington play their final league fixture against St George’s Hill Knights on Friday, May 30.
