THREE Spa Striders headed to Draycote to take part in the 10km race last Sunday.
Gethyn Friswell ran in a new personal best of 40 minutes and 51 seconds while Pete Teevan clocked 42:31 and Claire Westrope 51:19.
Meanwhile, Mel Venables completed the 31.7-mile Harworth Hobble in West Yorkshire on Saturday.
She completed the course in five hours, 18 minutes and one second to finish as third lady and first V40.
