LEAMINGTON have made experienced defender Theo Streete their third summer signing.
The 34-year-old joins the club after he left National League North rivals AFC Telford United at the end of last season.
Streete has previously played for Doncaster Rovers and Rotherham United in the Football League, scoring the last goal at the former’s Belle Vue ground against Nottingham Forest
Streete said: “I have played alongside quite a few of the squad in the past, so I am familiar with most of the lads.
“We have a few that can play in numerous positions and are willing to do so for the team, and I will be no different in that respect – wherever I am required to play I will do so for the team to help us succeed.
“I’m very happy to have signed. I think that we have got a good mix of experience and young lads and I am sure that everyone will want to keep progressing.”
The defender has spent most of his career in non-league football taking in two spells with Solihull Moors and further stints at Alfreton Town, Nuneaton Town and Brackley Town.
Birmingham-born Streete captained Moors to the National League north title in 2015/16 before spending the last four seasons with Telford.
