PLAYMAKER Danny Waldron is adamant that Leamington can pick up where they left off in the National League North next term, after penning a deal for the 2021/22 season.
Having hit the ground running in his 19 appearances, scoring three goals, since joining from Rushall Olympic, the 24-year-old is confident of more to come from the Brakes.
“It was good to get a feel for the league and to understand how we play as a team,” he said.
“I was gutted when the season came to an end as I felt I had just started to play better and the team was in a strong position.
“Hopefully we can continue that form and I can contribute to more goals and assists from the get go.”
On Saturday, Waldron heads to his old club when the Brakes visit Rushall for a friendly.
